The media world moves fast—real fast. And when you’re juggling platforms, people, and PR plans, you need someone who doesn’t just keep up but brings the energy and organization to lead the charge. That’s where Rex comes in.

As Media Coordinator at Roux, Rex works closely with account teams to execute campaigns with precision and purpose. From organizing media assets and timelines to coordinating cross-functional details, Rex makes sure every piece falls into place. He’s hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives on collaboration—keeping projects on track without losing sight of the creative vision behind them.

Originally from Houston, Rex moved to New Orleans to attend Loyola University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing. He made his mark early—joining the university’s Ad Team and developing the full PR plan for their media and advertising campaign. During his time at Loyola, Rex interned at a nonprofit focused on global business development in Africa, specifically Nigeria, where he gained insight into how communications can shape economies and communities.

Rex’s world is full—of friends, conversations, and connection. Despite being an only child, he’s rarely alone, always surrounded by the people he cares about. He finds joy in the everyday: live music, good food, and the company of others. New Orleans quickly became more than just a college town; it became home. And in every sense of the word, Rex is part of what makes it feel that way.
